Previously, I only heard the name of the person however when given the chance to see the ability as it is said. Have me a little excited. Indeed various questions play in the mind. I am worried about the effect of using the services of a rain shaman, Islam strictly forbids its people to rely on shirk.
The price of rain shaman services is not cheap. Thousands of ringgit just to prevent rain from falling during the ceremony. Logically the sane human mind, it is absurd to say that humans have the advantage of blocking the weather of nature.
Everything stems from a program organized by a non -governmental organization (NGO). It involves the presence of VVVIP, it is held outdoors, during the rainy season especially in the Kuala Lumpur area. All planning is done, each allocation is spent prudently according to established procedures.
During the discussion of the preparation process of the program. Someone among us, offered the services of a rain shaman. He has a friend who is good at repelling rain. If asked of me, definitely reject it because it has to do with faith in the conscious or vice versa.
When the offer is submitted to the responsible individual. A head of the organization, wearing the title of Hajj, accepted the proposal without hesitation. So the rain shaman was present in the program. His duty was only to be at the Council from morning till dusk. from morning to evening. The weather conditions at the time were indeed cloudy with a dark, giving signs that the day would be rainy.
The rain shaman service used, ended at 5.00 pm. Rain shamans cannot urinate throughout the program. If it is broken, the service will fail because it is said that the shaman will cause rain to fall if he urinates. Is it true what is alleged about the rain shaman involved ?.
At the time, I wasn’t sure, whether to want to believe it or not. However, when the clock showed 5pm, the official event was over, entering only 5.01pm. It rained heavily.
Only Allah SWT knows what happened. If according to human intellect, definitely consider the rain shaman to be very great. A human being who is not a Ustaz or a Religious Expert is able to ensure that there are no weather problems at certain times.
The superiors are satisfied with the service provided, maybe it is our choice as human beings, for the sake of something willing to do something even if it is something that threatens the Faith. Does it violate the faith ?, only Allah SWT knows everything.
From a different angle, I see this situation as a test of Faith for all of us. How much do you want everything to go smoothly then be willing to use the services of a rain shaman and a shaman must have a supernatural friend who is an ally of the shaman.
It is enough to affect our own faith based on:
In terms of language, magic in Lisan al-Arab is mentioned: “Sorcerers seem to show falsehood in the truth and describe something that is not like the real truth. Thus, he has changed something from the actual fact. (See Lisan al-‘Arab, 4/348)
In terms of terminology, Ibn Qudamah said: “Magic is a bond, spell and words spoken or written or made something that has adverse effects and consequences on the body of the bewitched person or on his heart and mind without touching it directly. (See al-Mughni, 9/34)
Prophet Muhammad mentioned the magic as one of the major sins. From Abu Hurairah R.A, Rasulullah SAW said:
Meaning: “Stay away from the seven great and destructive sins. The Companions asked: “O Messenger of Allah, what are the sins? Prophet Muhammad said: Associating partners with Allah, magic, killing souls that are forbidden except with the right reasons, usury, eating the property of orphans, running away from war and accusing pious believing women who are innocent of adultery. "
Narrated by al-Bukhari (2766)
Islamic scholars agree that learning magic, teaching and practicing it is haram. Ibn Qudamah said: “Indeed, learning magic and teaching it is haram. There is nothing wrong with him among the scholars. " (See al-Mughni, 8/151)
Imam al-Nawawi said: "As for studying it (magic) and teaching it, then the law is forbidden." (See Muslim bi Syarh al-Nawawi, 14/176)
