School Exams

Exams are a form of assessment of students, I believe it has existed for a long time. The examination may be different in terms of how the examination is conducted or the form of the assessment.

I was assessed through a written test for each lesson learned for a certain period of time. The basis of the examination is to determine the level of thinking of a person who is a student. Is a wise man or vice versa.

The education system that I went through has 2 levels, namely Lower Secondary which refers to Form 1 to 3 students and Upper Secondary which refers to Form 4 to 5 or 6.

Each level has a specific assessment which is the examination in Form 3 and Form 5 & 6. Examination in Form 5 and 6 are the most important examinations for school level students.

This is because the examination in form 5 or 6 will be a ticket for students to further their studies to higher education such as University or higher opportunities in the employment.

I am a less excellent student. just have the passion to work harder than the others. In order to get better results, all efforts are made including taking extra classes outside during school hours.

Succeeding in furthering my studies to form 4, it was enough to make me happy. Never thought to study high school class as a high school science or MRSMs.

Although my position at the time was in the first Class of 8 classes, it was not something that could be considered a measure that I had a great opportunity to further my studies to a better school.

As time goes on, students including teachers continue to count the days leading up to the date the PMR examination will be held.

In my observation at that time, from 8 classes. it is informally divided into 2 groups, the first group who want to pass excellently and the other just pass all the subjects taken for the examination.

Same situation when I sat for the UPSR exam, 3 years ago. Does the system remains up to now ?, me a lot of changes in the education system now compared to the time before.

PMR has now changed in terms of its name and examination policy.

1998 was the year that had many things going on in Malaysia. There are loves and sorrows, remain memories for those who still exist until now. The same year I sit for PMR, a very deep memories.

Most interesting talk about the examinations will be occupied by each student, touching culture or faith community, namely the provision of spiritual angle.

Through solat hajat, usually a week before the exam, it is hoped that Allah SWT will facilitate the examination process. The most common is the preparation of "air tawar" or "air yasin", so that students will remember what they learned when answering exam questions.

After the PMR exam, the students once parted ways with their classmates because after this. a new direction will be open to all, whether to continue their studies at the same school or continue their studies at a high-performing school or at a vocational college.

So the rules are provided, only we choose to follow which one. I continued my studies at the same school, while many of my friends continued their studies at a much better school. According to the interests and hopes of pursuing their respective goals.

To me, every exam that must be taken is a battlefield in order to pursue a dream or join a new struggle. Starting from UPSR to SPM or STPM. Being a school student is a wonderful memory and will be missed for a long time.
