Critical Condition?

 Malaysia at this time, in my personal opinion. Facing a new wave of infection involves a new mutation variant namely the Delta Variant. This new variant has a very frightening effect or impact on those who are infected. I believe the delta variant is the main cause of the increase in the number of infected Malaysian deaths based on current reports of the Pandemic situation in Malaysia.

However, the most unfortunate situation is when there are groups of people who still do not take seriously the current situation of the pandemic in the country. Kelantan is one of the states that can be used as an example. The existence of a society that is selfish and ultimately makes others suffer. A few days ago, based on data released by the Ministry of Health Malaysia. The number of infected locals is increasing. In fact, the Ministry of Health Malaysia also detected the existence of cases of infection caused by Variant Delta.

Currently, one of my cousins has been infected with Covid19 and is currently being treated at the Intensive Care Unit of a large Hospital in Kota Bharu. According to the report of the doctor who treated him, the oxygen content in his blood still showed a lower percentage than it should have. Of course, the situation makes us all as close family members feel worried. We couldn’t visit him, at the same time my uncle’s family, his wife and other children were also confirmed positive.

I can’t be sure if my cousin got the infection due to Variant Delta or not. The only thing I regret is that the infection was due to some parties failing to comply with the SOP thus causing others to suffer. I am currently in the high risk category due to an illness and have not yet received an appointment date to get a vaccine shot like everyone else. Fortunately my mother got the first dose injection. The fact is that we as human beings must try to protect ourselves and our loved ones. Only then do we submit to Allah SWT who has the Most Right to decide everything.

If my cousin still shows the same condition, it is feared it will lead him to a more critical condition. The latest mutation of this pandemic virus is very scary. The rate of infection takes only 15 seconds and the effects after exposure. Able to cause patients at level 5 which is the most critical condition.

The situation my cousin is facing now, must be the same as anyone else. Being infected by a pandemic unknowingly in turn causes one family to become equally infected. Therefore, how important it is for us to receive vaccine injections so that our bodies are prepared to face any eventuality. Of course we do not want to be part of those who lost because of this terrible pandemic.

AKU PELAJAR PENGAJIAN MEDIA,

Walaupun telah lama aku tinggalkan Universiti Malaya, terutama Jabatan Pengajian Media, masih ada kenangan yang terpahat dalam ingatan. Pelbagai kisah tidak tercatat tetapi di coret dalam kamus hidup aku. Setelah melaporkan diri di Kolej Kediaman Ke-7, aku mempunyai tempoh 1-2 minggu untuk menentukan Subjek Major & Minor bagi melengkapkan Ijazah Sarjan Muda nanti.   Pada mulanya aku berminat pada Pengajian Hubungan Antarabangsa & Strategik sebagai subjek major.  Namun pada hari pertama masuk kelas pengenalan, lecture terus bagi assignment yang lebih fokus kepada undang-undang antarabangsa, membuatkan aku terasa takut sangat dengan beban bakal aku pikul nanti. Lagipun aku bukan dalam kategori pelajar pintar seperti orang lain. BAGAIMANA MENJADI TELEMARKETING?

Aku ingin kongsi pengalaman bekerja sebagai Telemarketing bagi sebuah Institusi Pendidikan di bandar Kota Bharu, seingat aku sekitar tahun 2008. Walaupun bekerja atas nama status kontrak, ia memberi pengalaman baru kepada aku, secara peribadi.Maklumlah budak pengajian media dari Universiti Malaya tiba-tiba jadi budak marketing. Apabila aku tamat latihan "on job training" di sebuah GLC yang base di Airports Subang pada tahun 2007. Aku mengambil keputusan balik kampung untuk menjaga ibu yang kini tinggal seorang setelah kematian abah. Aku mengambil inisiatif menghantar resume ke seluruh institusi atau organisasi yang dirasakan sesuai di sekitar Kota Bharu pada awal tahun 2008. Salah sebuah organisasi yang aku hantar permohonan terbuka telah menghubungi aku untuk hadir ke sesi temuduga yang aku tidak mengetahui apa jawatannya.
