Gold Digger

 Humans have many characteristics, some are positive and some are negative. There are many factors that influence a person's character, perhaps internal or personal factors or the surrounding circumstances.

One of the personal characteristics of human beings that attracts attention. Especially involving women regardless of race and religion is having the character of a gold digger.

What is a Gold Digger?, maybe the meaning that I can easily understand is the character of a person who wants money through seduction. Maybe because of that, women are always said to have something to do with the gold digger character. Is it easy for us to recognize women who have gold digger character?.

The habit of a woman who becomes a Gold Digger is a woman who likes to dress sexy and seductive. I believe that the Gold digger will identify the victim first before seducing the victim. Gold digger will definitely not seduce a poor man.

Just don't be surprised if there is a Gold Digger who hides his nature by appearing to be a good woman. I have a story that happened involving a man who really loved a woman who was actually a gold digger.

The girl is just an ordinary girl in my opinion, she might look beautiful if any man saw her. A young man who is a friend of mine, was initially close friends with the woman. During the time they were friends, various sad stories were shared. At the end of the story, the woman shared that she had financial problems. Because of love, hundreds of ringgit were given to the woman by the man.

When the man starts running out of money to give, the story begins of how the woman tries to escape from the man who sacrificed a lot for her. The harder it is to meet, the harder it is to call. The situation is much different than when the man involved has money.

Finally the woman broke off the relationship, even insulting the man involved. I can't imagine how it feels to be treated like that by a woman who is thought to love us sincerely.

I thought, are the parents who put the value of the wedding gift up to thousands of ringgit also a Gold Digger?. Perhaps because of the decline of Islam, it became Sunnah for the family to simplify the affairs of marriage rather than the other way around. 

Humans now easily succumb to the temptation of ringgit money. I sympathize with those who became victims of Gold Digger. Sure they are sincere with their feelings for their partner but the love they give is reciprocated with deception.

Is the existence of the Gold Digger trait the cause of the existence of a culture of being a social escort woman or a mistress as portrayed in local TV dramas?.

At the age of 40, I was still single. One of the reasons is that I am afraid of falling prey to Gold Digger women.

AKU PELAJAR PENGAJIAN MEDIA,

Walaupun telah lama aku tinggalkan Universiti Malaya, terutama Jabatan Pengajian Media, masih ada kenangan yang terpahat dalam ingatan. Pelbagai kisah tidak tercatat tetapi di coret dalam kamus hidup aku. Setelah melaporkan diri di Kolej Kediaman Ke-7, aku mempunyai tempoh 1-2 minggu untuk menentukan Subjek Major & Minor bagi melengkapkan Ijazah Sarjan Muda nanti.   Pada mulanya aku berminat pada Pengajian Hubungan Antarabangsa & Strategik sebagai subjek major.  Namun pada hari pertama masuk kelas pengenalan, lecture terus bagi assignment yang lebih fokus kepada undang-undang antarabangsa, membuatkan aku terasa takut sangat dengan beban bakal aku pikul nanti. Lagipun aku bukan dalam kategori pelajar pintar seperti orang lain. BAGAIMANA MENJADI TELEMARKETING?

Aku ingin kongsi pengalaman bekerja sebagai Telemarketing bagi sebuah Institusi Pendidikan di bandar Kota Bharu, seingat aku sekitar tahun 2008. Walaupun bekerja atas nama status kontrak, ia memberi pengalaman baru kepada aku, secara peribadi.Maklumlah budak pengajian media dari Universiti Malaya tiba-tiba jadi budak marketing. Apabila aku tamat latihan "on job training" di sebuah GLC yang base di Airports Subang pada tahun 2007. Aku mengambil keputusan balik kampung untuk menjaga ibu yang kini tinggal seorang setelah kematian abah. Aku mengambil inisiatif menghantar resume ke seluruh institusi atau organisasi yang dirasakan sesuai di sekitar Kota Bharu pada awal tahun 2008. Salah sebuah organisasi yang aku hantar permohonan terbuka telah menghubungi aku untuk hadir ke sesi temuduga yang aku tidak mengetahui apa jawatannya.
