What a new cabinet story?

 Each of us definitely has a new cabinet in the house after the old one is no longer useful and should be discarded. Not only the old cabinets are discarded but all the equipment in them is also discarded because it can be said that 70% -80% are no longer functional or useful to be stored. So personally I feel it weird if a new cabinet is purchased but still keeps something useless and inconvenient.

Malaysia is now officially led by the 9th Prime Minister. After the riddle of who will be the 9th Prime Minister after the 8th Prime Minister resigned was answered. The public in general is waiting for the list of new Cabinet Ministers to be appointed to help the 9th Prime Minister govern the country. When it was officially announced, something was to be expected and of course it was very disappointing as there were some names who had not previously shown outstanding performance but were still being appointed again.

I strongly believe that the average citizen has spoken out to the Prime Minister. through social media platforms. Do not elect leaders who failed in previous administrations. But it seems that the voice of the people is not heard by the leaders of the country. Looking at the list of leaders appointed in the list of new cabinet ministers, 70% -80% are the same leaders from the previous administration. So for me, hope remains hope because the people at this time, know enough about the governance of each leader.

FRUSTRATED!. That's what I and probably many others who feel it. While the country and the world are still gripped by pandemic and economic crises. Necessarily expect new ideas and ways of governance in the face of the crisis. Although the 15th General Election is getting closer. That doesn’t mean we just connect the old ways of working and thinking.

What will the people see in the next 100 days ?. Of course everyone wants the best. Not from the point of view of a political supporter but from the point of view of an ordinary citizen who votes every 5 years. The views of a political supporter are certainly all good when the politician he supports becomes part of a member of the federal cabinet.

I do not want to be prejudiced, I still hope that something better can be given to the people by the new cabinet. I admit there are cabinet members who have shown very excellent service before. I agree when re -appointed. Yet what I regret when something fails and doesn’t work, is still being appointed again. Disappointed I was worthless because I only represented one vote to elect a leader at the Parliament and State Assembly level. The reality of a subordinate citizen like ME.

AKU PELAJAR PENGAJIAN MEDIA,

Walaupun telah lama aku tinggalkan Universiti Malaya, terutama Jabatan Pengajian Media, masih ada kenangan yang terpahat dalam ingatan. Pelbagai kisah tidak tercatat tetapi di coret dalam kamus hidup aku. Setelah melaporkan diri di Kolej Kediaman Ke-7, aku mempunyai tempoh 1-2 minggu untuk menentukan Subjek Major & Minor bagi melengkapkan Ijazah Sarjan Muda nanti.   Pada mulanya aku berminat pada Pengajian Hubungan Antarabangsa & Strategik sebagai subjek major.  Namun pada hari pertama masuk kelas pengenalan, lecture terus bagi assignment yang lebih fokus kepada undang-undang antarabangsa, membuatkan aku terasa takut sangat dengan beban bakal aku pikul nanti. Lagipun aku bukan dalam kategori pelajar pintar seperti orang lain. BAGAIMANA MENJADI TELEMARKETING?

Aku ingin kongsi pengalaman bekerja sebagai Telemarketing bagi sebuah Institusi Pendidikan di bandar Kota Bharu, seingat aku sekitar tahun 2008. Walaupun bekerja atas nama status kontrak, ia memberi pengalaman baru kepada aku, secara peribadi.Maklumlah budak pengajian media dari Universiti Malaya tiba-tiba jadi budak marketing. Apabila aku tamat latihan "on job training" di sebuah GLC yang base di Airports Subang pada tahun 2007. Aku mengambil keputusan balik kampung untuk menjaga ibu yang kini tinggal seorang setelah kematian abah. Aku mengambil inisiatif menghantar resume ke seluruh institusi atau organisasi yang dirasakan sesuai di sekitar Kota Bharu pada awal tahun 2008. Salah sebuah organisasi yang aku hantar permohonan terbuka telah menghubungi aku untuk hadir ke sesi temuduga yang aku tidak mengetahui apa jawatannya.
