TOTAL LOCKDOWN 3.0 2021

Beginning June 1, 2021, Malaysians will go through the total lockdown phase or Movement Control Order (MCO 3.0) until June 14, 2021. I think this action is the government's last choice, to ensure that the alarming spread of pandemic among Malaysians can be stopped immediately before it is too late.

Entering its 2nd year, Malaysia is facing this pandemic problem with the 3rd wave of virus transmission. Of course, it has a profound effect on the lives of Malaysians. Several sectors of the economy were severely affected, causing thousands of Malaysians to lose their jobs. Most sad if there is no savings to use when facing this difficult time.

I believe that the total lockdown this time is different from the previous year. This is because at this time, Malaysia is in the process of giving vaccines to Malaysians. Only in my personal opinion, the vaccination process is done quite slowly compared to other countries. Furthermore, the awareness of Malaysians on the importance of vaccination is still low. It is a situation that must be changed immediately to ensure that the country's economy is truly in the process of full recovery.

No one should try to find fault with who caused Malaysia to still face this health conflict. The most important thing is to provide support so that we can protect ourselves and our family members from getting infected. This pandemic is very scary. It is capable of causing the death of the patient in a short period of time, at the same time. This pandemic virus is seen to be constantly mutating or in my opinion, it is increasingly immune from any attempt to eradicate the virus.

I have to admit that the government at this time, is trying a lot to help Malaysians in terms of financial assistance. Especially for Malaysians who are in the B40 group. Apart from that, local leaders also play a role by providing basic food assistance to the affected Malaysians. Of course, in order to ensure that we truly succeed in breaking the chain of this pandemic infection, all parties, including Malaysians themselves, must play a role.

The 14 -day period will be decisive, the direction of the country in managing the health conflict that is currently facing. For Malaysians, do not just hope that the government can resolve this health conflict alone. We must work together to ensure that no more Malaysians become victims of this pandemic.
