Across the State

Because I live in Kelantan, every current issue is like a pandemic. I like the Kelantan situation, as a reference for my personal opinion. Indeed every location or place has its socio -cultural differences. Every day, there must be a story or event that happens and can be used as a historical record either for me personally or the local community.

Although the government has not yet announced permission for Malaysians to cross the state, the number of vehicles passing through the Kuala Krai to Kota Bharu route is seen to be increasing, in my observation. Has there been any cross -state activity even without official permission from the National Security Council ?.

I feel a little worried considering the current situation in Kelantan, still recorded a 4 -figure number of cases. What will be the situation if there is a drastic increase in the number of Kelantanese entering the state ?. Will the state of Kelantan move to phase 3 of the national recovery plan like other states ?.

Furthermore, when the permission given by the government will involve all Malaysians, including those who are anti-vaccine. In my understanding, the government does not have a specific mechanism to track the entry of people who have not been vaccinated into a state, including Kelantan. It's a very risky situation in my opinion.

Malaysia is about to enter an endemic phase, does that mean we don't have to worry about infection or contagion like before ?. Honestly I am just like everyone else, hoping the situation returns to normal even though the way of life may be a little different because the virus will continue to be with us forever like the viruses that have been with humans all this time.

Currently, many are waiting for the authorities to announce official permission for the public across the state. It is also awaited by small entrepreneurs because cross -state activities are one of the contributors to the increase in sales of small entrepreneurs' products. Restrictions or permissions across states are not only implemented in Malaysia, based on my observations and understanding. Almost all pandemic countries have chosen to implement sanctions in an effort to curb the spread of the virus among the people.

The government has given an assurance that when the country's vaccination percentage reaches 90% of the adult population of Malaysians, cross -state permits will be announced, perhaps today or tomorrow or the day after. For those who have not returned to the village for a long time, the long awaited time has almost arrived.
