Political Party

Anyone who is interested in the political world, must have knowledge about the political parties in a country. Political topics are very interesting to debate in many ways.

Most importantly, whoever dominates politics, automatically has the power that anyone can dream of as long as they are sane and named human beings.

I am not someone who understands about political parties in Malaysia, although from a young age I have been exposed to politics and parties.

I live in Kelantan, a state that has always had something to do with politics because it is governed by a Political Party that is different from the political parties of the federal government.

I don't know how the political party system is in other countries. I just want to share my opinion on political parties referring to the country of Malaysia.

Why would I want to write about political parties in Malaysia?, definitely because it is a very interesting topic. In Malaysia, not only 2 or 3 political parties but more than 5 active political parties.

It is an advantage to have a large number of political parties ?. As far as I know, in some countries there are only 2 political parties contesting in the general election.

Maybe Malaysians can easily make a choice when there are many political parties that will contest every election.

How do new parties exist in Malaysia ?, if we look at the history of new parties in this country. Before that there was only political party A, then there was an internal crisis of the party, then split to form political party B, then split again to form parties C and D.

Finally the voters who are inside are in the lemma, which political party should they choose ?. Perhaps before this, the contesting candidate came from political party A, then jumped to become a candidate of political party B, when not selected for the next election, jumped again to join political party C or D.

When too many political parties are formed and contest in every election. It makes it difficult for a each party to get a majority of votes to determine which party will govern the country.

The year 2021 has shown how the administration of the country is easily changed due to the lack of a majority in Parliament.

Previously, only 2-3 names of candidates representing different political parties were printed on the ballot paper. But now, more names of candidates are printed on the ballot paper.

I still think about the advantages of having multiple political parties in Malaysia. Does it bring benefits to the people or only the interests of certain parties ?.

From the many political parties that exist, a coalition between the parties is formed. I still see more than 2 combinations in place. On the ballot paper are still many lists of candidates contesting.

I'm worried that senior citizens voters will make a mistake in choosing the candidate of their choice. Wanted to vote for candidate A but voted for candidate C.

My own aunt once shared a story of how she mistakenly voted for a candidate because there were many lists of candidates on the ballot paper. Probably because of this, the number of votes obtained is lower than in previous elections.
