The 15th General Election

Many people think that Malaysia is getting closer to the 15th General Election. All parties are seen starting to organize strategies to ensure that the General Election is won by them.

In Peninsular Malaysia, I saw 4 components that were formed in the face of the General Election this time. The components mentioned are the Barisan Nasional (BN), Pakatan Harapan (PH), Perikatan Nasional (PN) and Gerakan Tanah Air (GTA). Are the components of this formed party capable of winning the votes of the Malaysian people?.

Currently, the Prime Minister is under pressure to dissolve the Dewan Rakyat and hold a General Election immediately. I am strange because it is not the components of the opposition party that are urging the Prime Minister to hold a General Election in the near future but the Party represented by the Prime Minister himself. Very strange in my opinion.

In this general election, Malaysians who are 18 years old and above are automatically eligible to vote. I think that these young voters will be the ones who decide who will form the new federal government later.

I am actually comfortable with the form of cooperation between the parties in the current government. Although there are shortcomings but it is still fair. Should the people choose the party that has the longest experience in governing the country? or give opportunities to new leaders with new ideas for the entire people. In my opinion, people should never take easy steps in making choices in the next general election.

Malaysians should be aware of the issues or controversies related to several political leaders. Is it true that the accusations are made or just want to bring down the leader or the party he represents? I'm not qualified to express an opinion on the matter, I'll just say that if you've been in a top position for too long and comfortably, then how easily the leader is tempted by what he has, which is power.

What are my hopes for the General Election this time? I hope that Malaysians will choose a political party that is honest and most importantly does not accumulate wealth over the misery of the people. If a madman does not admit that he is mad, how will a leader who misuses power admit that he misuses power?.

I think young voters should play a role in convincing their parents or relatives not to vote for leaders who are clearly involved in wrong things such as corruption. If Malaysians choose the right political leaders, the country will be on the right track for recovery even though many world leaders predict the world economy will collapse.

The future of the country depends on us as Malaysians. 15th General Election, choose wisely so that you won't regret it for the next 5 years.
