Malaysia Control Order

The government began to allow Malaysians to carry out activities that had been stopped due to the Movement Control Order. One by one, restrictions began to be allowed, it must be good news for Malaysians who have been patient through the period of the Movement Control Order. The number of roadblocks began to be reduced, cross -district activities began to be allowed, and I even saw that some had returned to the village despite having permission letters from the police.

The tourism sector, which is one of the income -generating sectors for the people and the country, has officially started operating. It started with the 'Travel Bubble' and Langkawi was chosen by the government, in my opinion maybe the government would like to see the ability to control the situation if there is a new infection.

Kelantan is one of the states that has its beach attractions, visitors start coming when the government allows leisure activities. Yesterday, my own relatives, visiting a nearby beach, just arrived, the area was so crowded with visitors that it was quite difficult to be a vehicle parking area. They canceled the visit due to too many visitors and the risk of bringing children, although permission was given, all parties should be reminded that Kelantan still recorded the value of infection cases at 3 digits.

To me, it is only right for the government to give permission or lift some restrictions on the activities of Malaysians. Malaysians should not be negligent until there is a new infection in society, the government has done their part. It is now our responsibility as citizens to ensure that our health and economic status are back to normal.

Maybe after this, more holiday locations throughout Malaysia, are allowed to be visited. Of course, it will give hope to the tourism sector operators to generate income again after the operation was stopped for so long due to MCO. Only SOP compliance should be tightened because all parties must not want something sad to happen in joy.

The fact is that human beings are free and do not like to be tied down. Therefore, when permission is given, it must be something that we all look forward to, especially for those who have not seen family members for too long.

I am not sure whether Malaysia has entered an endemic phase or not. I just hope that Malaysians are really ready to enter the endemic phase, no more anti-vaccine groups because we have to together go through whatever happens in the future. For almost 2 years, many things have happened and we have dropped out, especially in the national education sector. Hopefully this time, we are really willing to live with the virus.
