Politics and people

 When it comes to politics, the storyline is almost the same for every country. There is a government component and an opposition component. Differences may be in the number of parties contesting in a general election. There are countries that have only two parties and there are countries that have almost 10 parties contesting.

On the other hand, not all citizens of a country are directly involved with a political party as members of that party. Many like to be mere observers while evaluating which party is fulfilling the promises given before the last General Election. Therefore, for those who are given the opportunity to hold power as the ruler of the country through politics, do not be arrogant and conceited with what they have.

The political situation in this country, in my opinion is still volatile. Too many political polemics so that the people are the indirect victims. The situation became more critical when the world was hit by a pandemic that forced the newly appointed government to implement the Movement Control Order starting in early March 2020.

Among the effects of the Pandemic that began to be detected at the end of 2019 is that it is the cause of death of people all over the world, including Malaysia. The whole country began to close the borders of their respective countries, this directly affected economic activities with a big impact. Eventually the companies involved would have to downsize their operations or close down altogether, as a result of which the company had to lay off employees. The unemployment rate is rising drastically.

I have to admit that the government at this time, helped the people a lot even in the uncertainty of the current political situation. Every time, the story of the country's political conflict is presented to the people. When the people are struggling to continue the continuity of life and family. And no wonder, among the people getting fed up with the political dramas that are shown.

I believe the people want a full stop on all issues related to national politics. How ?, dissolve the assembly and hold a General Election. This is important to ensure that the new government that will be elected later wins by a majority. Able to give confidence to foreign investors to invest in Malaysia.

The people want change, they want economic recovery when the pandemic has not yet come to an end. The government has helped a lot but there must be a new episode in the process of building a career after the defeat after the implementation of the MCO since last year.

I believe all people all over the world have such hopes as well because of this politics, the storyline is the same as I said from the beginning. Not everyone is interested in talking or getting involved in politics but everyone will vote for a politician they trust when the time comes.

AKU PELAJAR PENGAJIAN MEDIA,

Walaupun telah lama aku tinggalkan Universiti Malaya, terutama Jabatan Pengajian Media, masih ada kenangan yang terpahat dalam ingatan. Pelbagai kisah tidak tercatat tetapi di coret dalam kamus hidup aku. Setelah melaporkan diri di Kolej Kediaman Ke-7, aku mempunyai tempoh 1-2 minggu untuk menentukan Subjek Major & Minor bagi melengkapkan Ijazah Sarjan Muda nanti.   Pada mulanya aku berminat pada Pengajian Hubungan Antarabangsa & Strategik sebagai subjek major.  Namun pada hari pertama masuk kelas pengenalan, lecture terus bagi assignment yang lebih fokus kepada undang-undang antarabangsa, membuatkan aku terasa takut sangat dengan beban bakal aku pikul nanti. Lagipun aku bukan dalam kategori pelajar pintar seperti orang lain. BAGAIMANA MENJADI TELEMARKETING?

Aku ingin kongsi pengalaman bekerja sebagai Telemarketing bagi sebuah Institusi Pendidikan di bandar Kota Bharu, seingat aku sekitar tahun 2008. Walaupun bekerja atas nama status kontrak, ia memberi pengalaman baru kepada aku, secara peribadi.Maklumlah budak pengajian media dari Universiti Malaya tiba-tiba jadi budak marketing. Apabila aku tamat latihan "on job training" di sebuah GLC yang base di Airports Subang pada tahun 2007. Aku mengambil keputusan balik kampung untuk menjaga ibu yang kini tinggal seorang setelah kematian abah. Aku mengambil inisiatif menghantar resume ke seluruh institusi atau organisasi yang dirasakan sesuai di sekitar Kota Bharu pada awal tahun 2008. Salah sebuah organisasi yang aku hantar permohonan terbuka telah menghubungi aku untuk hadir ke sesi temuduga yang aku tidak mengetahui apa jawatannya.
