Vaccinated Begins

Malaysia is currently in the process of implementing vaccinations nationwide after the Prime Minister became the first person to receive the vaccine on February 24.

Based on local media reports, this vaccination program will go through 3 phases and the first phase of the program involves frontlines staff including teachers.

It is hoped that through this vaccination program, Malaysia can stop the pandemic infection overall. It is understood that more than half of Malaysians had signed up voluntarily to get vaccinated. Registration can be done through "mysejahtera" apps.

Malaysians should get the vaccinations recommended by the government immediately. An effort to ensure that we survive receiving severe consequences if infected.

Yesterday evening, was the time to hold a night market in Ketereh Area. during the period of the Movement Control Order (MCO) is held, usually the number of night market visitors is very small but yesterday was slightly different when the number of visitors doubled from normal time.

Although I saw almost 100% of visitors to wear a facemask, but one thing that is quite difficult to practice social spacing between the customer when purchasing the desired food. Probably due to the large number of visitors limiting the space for compliance to keep distance between visitors.

This situation, raises concerns, based on a statement from the Senior Minister of Security that currently any cross-district or state activity is strictly prohibited. So the visitors who come to the night market, from where ?. I can give an idea of the market last night, like a Ramadan bazaar in close.

Even if the country is in the process of vaccination, it is not a ticket for the people to violate the prescribed SOP. I saw in the Ketereh Area, many residents began to not practice the SOPs that were previously practiced, especially the face masks in the crowded areas.

Although the number of positively infected patients is declining based on the reports provided. We must not be undisciplined in SOP compliance because any risks associated with pandemic infections still exist.
