HERO OF MALAYSIAN

 Currently, the world is still struggling with a pandemic that has claimed millions of lives. Although vaccines have been produced, the long-term effects are still uncertain. Pandemics not only endanger lives but also affect the world economy and Malaysia is a country that is also affected economically.

Starting from the beginning of 2020, continuing until now. Unemployment rates are rising, many are losing their jobs. Previously able to earn income reaching tens of thousands of ringgit, now have to work harder just to earn tens of ringgit only. The rich are seen to continue to strive to maintain wealth while the poor continue to be crushed by poverty so that some are willing to steal for the sake of starving child at home.

At this point, we certainly expect someone who is capable, to give help to those of us who are in economic hardship. Alhamdulillah, Allah SWT hears our prayers when he sends a philanthropist named Ebit Lew to help Malaysians, regardless of religion and race. A character-very gentle, soft-spoken and a great service to all Malaysians.

Only through social media, Ustaz Ebit Lew knows who needs his help with the team. Most touching to me, when Ustaz Ebit Lew was willing to send aid including food to Sabah by renting a cargo plane to bring the supplies. An attempt, to the best of my knowledge, no civilian has ever done so.

Several news portals that publish articles regarding Ustaz Ebit Lew's contribution to the people of Sabah from last year until now. As posted sinarharian, beritaharian, edisi9 dan FMT. 

If we look at the type of donation and the quantity donated, we definitely feel that Ustaz Ebit Lew has spent a very large amount of money for each donation given. Therefore, I feel that Malaysians should be grateful because Allah SWT sent Ustaz Ebit Lew to help us all, especially those who are very affected by the pandemic situation and flood disaster. I believe there must be people like Ustaz Ebit Lew in other countries. Provide the necessary help unconditionally as usual we hear when applying for assistance especially from the Agency responsible.

The latest news regarding Ustaz Ebit Lew is that he has made some contributions in the state of Kelantan as reported by news portals such as sinarharian 1, sinarharian 2.

In my personal opinion, it is not the responsibility of Ustaz Ebit Lew to help those in need as reported because they have nothing to do with ustaz, but due to the attitude of responsibility then ustaz still helps so willing to fly to Kota Bharu to give the necessary contributions. I thought, what are the efforts made by local leaders, especially state assemblymen and MPs in the area ?. I smile when every time they be asked by a journalist when touch on help to the locals. Certainly the usual answer heard is that there is no provision for assistance, to me, if you are not able to carry out your responsibilities then leave the responsibility to a more qualified person.

Who is Ustaz Ebit Lew ?, to me, he is a motivator and entrepreneur just like everyone else, only his generous nature in my opinion, more than others. If many people behave like Ustaz Ebit Lew, I believe people will not think of committing crimes as they do now. I wrote about Ustaz Ebit Lew for being proud mixed with sadness, proud for the attitude shown by Ustaz, helping everyone regardless of race and religion, showing how beautiful Islam is. Sad because the attitude of some Muslim leaders, especially political leaders always talk about Islam but did not show the same example as disclosed to the people.

If anyone reads this writing, what would you feel if an Indian family had to stay in a car for 8 months, then be known by Ustaz Ebit Lew and continue to be assisted in less than 24 hours. Therefore, Ustaz Ebit Lew should be given the title of Hero for Malaysians because his generous nature is able to make crying turn into a smile. Throughout my life of almost 38 years, I have never seen a leader give help as Ustaz Ebit Lew gave. Most of them just know the promise but always fail to keep it.

AKU PELAJAR PENGAJIAN MEDIA,

Walaupun telah lama aku tinggalkan Universiti Malaya, terutama Jabatan Pengajian Media, masih ada kenangan yang terpahat dalam ingatan. Pelbagai kisah tidak tercatat tetapi di coret dalam kamus hidup aku. Setelah melaporkan diri di Kolej Kediaman Ke-7, aku mempunyai tempoh 1-2 minggu untuk menentukan Subjek Major & Minor bagi melengkapkan Ijazah Sarjan Muda nanti.   Pada mulanya aku berminat pada Pengajian Hubungan Antarabangsa & Strategik sebagai subjek major.  Namun pada hari pertama masuk kelas pengenalan, lecture terus bagi assignment yang lebih fokus kepada undang-undang antarabangsa, membuatkan aku terasa takut sangat dengan beban bakal aku pikul nanti. Lagipun aku bukan dalam kategori pelajar pintar seperti orang lain. BAGAIMANA MENJADI TELEMARKETING?

Aku ingin kongsi pengalaman bekerja sebagai Telemarketing bagi sebuah Institusi Pendidikan di bandar Kota Bharu, seingat aku sekitar tahun 2008. Walaupun bekerja atas nama status kontrak, ia memberi pengalaman baru kepada aku, secara peribadi.Maklumlah budak pengajian media dari Universiti Malaya tiba-tiba jadi budak marketing. Apabila aku tamat latihan "on job training" di sebuah GLC yang base di Airports Subang pada tahun 2007. Aku mengambil keputusan balik kampung untuk menjaga ibu yang kini tinggal seorang setelah kematian abah. Aku mengambil inisiatif menghantar resume ke seluruh institusi atau organisasi yang dirasakan sesuai di sekitar Kota Bharu pada awal tahun 2008. Salah sebuah organisasi yang aku hantar permohonan terbuka telah menghubungi aku untuk hadir ke sesi temuduga yang aku tidak mengetahui apa jawatannya.
